The apocalypse has arrived for Monopoly tokens.
Hasbro's public voting is officially open for Monopoly Token Madness. The votes will determine the classic board game's new lineup of player figurines, with winners to be announced on March 19, also known as World Monopoly Day.

The lineup of tokens has shifted multiple times since Monopoly launched in 1935. The most recent change, in 2013, replaced the original's clothing iron with a user-voted cat figurine.
This new vote differs because none of the existing tokens are safe anymore. There are 64 up for the vote, including the eight pieces — cat, dog, thimble, shoe, wheelbarrow, race car, battleship, and top hat — packed in with current versions of the game.
Anyone can participate in the voting, which consists of selecting your favorite eight tokens from the pool of 64. Just head over to VoteMonopoly.com to browse through all of them and make your selections.
Unfortunately, the site can be a little clunky to navigate and the images of each token are relatively tiny. But we've got you covered.
At the bottom of this post you'll find a gallery containing images of all 64 tokens. The silver ones are currently available in Monopoly and the gold ones — all 56 of them — are new. Which will you be voting for?
